1. Age Restrictions

2. Prices and Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and may be per bottle/item or per case, as marked. All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST). Unless specified, any delivery charges are additional. We offer 100% Secure Payment. You may pay by Visa, MasterCard and payment via PayPal.

3. Delivery Information

We deliver Australia Wide and will provide individual quotations on orders for delivery overseas.

3.1 Freight and Delivery Guarantee Costs

Delivery is calculated at a flat rate per carton*. It’s based on a combination of Freight and Delivery Guarantee Costs.

3.2 Delivery Instructions

To ensure your order is delivered as quickly, we advise you to provide us with specific delivery instructions (this is possible in the checkout). When accurate delivery instructions have not been provided and multiple delivery attempts have to be made, an additional freight cost may apply. Please read the guide below for possible delivery instructions.

You can provide instructions to leave your parcel in a safe place when you are not at home (for example ‘leave at back door when not home’);

Or let us know if you would prefer the drivers to leave a card when you are not there, so you can collect your purchase at the local Post Office or Depot. (without instructions, the drivers will leave your parcel in a place they think is safe);

You can also provide instructions to delay your delivery to a certain date (for example when you are purchasing a Christmas or special occasion gift);

Drivers are not able to phone prior to delivery and/or deliver at a specified time.

3.3 Stolen Wine and Breakages

If you provide specific instructions to leave your wine, (we prefer that if no-one is home the wine is then available for collection from the local Post Office), and the wine is stolen, you are held responsible. We will consider replacing the wine free of charge under exceptional circumstance. If there are any breakages, please notify us via our contact details.

4. Return Policy

If you are unhappy with your Rookery Wine, please contact using any one of contact details Tell us the reason of your complaint and we will arrange the pick-up of your purchase and credit your account.

Terms for our 100% money back guarantee

If you purchase any Rookery Wines and you are not happy*, we will credit your credit card for the amount of the bottle of wine.
If you bought multiple bottles of a particular wine, we will credit you the full amount of your order (excluding delivery costs).
Pick up (returns) of your purchases is at no cost to you.
You can return your purchase up to 30 days from the purchase date.
We will not accept returns where more than one bottle has been opened.
Wines collected by Australia Post must be in their original box to avoid further breakages.
Please contact us to pick up your purchase.
We will refund you within five business days after we have received the wine back into our warehouse.
Depending on the bank, after we have processed your refund, it may take up to five business days before the refund is made to your account.
(*If some or all of the bottles of wine in a case are broken, corked, oxidized or not of merchantable quality when they are delivered, please notify us immediately. You may choose either to return the whole case for a refund or receive a replacement.)

5. Warranties

We warrant that Rookery Wines will be of high quality and fit for their purpose.

6. Customer Satisfaction

If you are dissatisfied with our wines or service in any way, please contact us as soon as possible. Rookery Wines deal with all customer enquiries fairly, confidentially and quickly. We will acknowledge your contact within 48 hours (during business days). We resolve most issues quickly; however, where this is not possible, we will keep you informed about the progress of your compliant until a satisfactory solution has been achieved.

7. Availability

Rookery Wines is an agricultural product and subject ot the vagaries of the seasons and vintages. If you order wine, we may substitute some of the bottles of a different vintage of equal quality and value guaranteed. If you have cause to be unhappy with our choice of replacement of vintage on any of the bottles, we will provide you a credit for the first bottle and we will need to collect the remaining bottles and credit you once they are received back in our warehouse.

8. Change of Details

You are responsible for notifying Rookery Wines of any change of name, address, payment details or other relevant details by contacting us directly. Failure to do so may result in you being ultimately responsible for any deliveries forwarded to the wrong address.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

You agree and acknowledge that we own or are licensed to use all copyright, database rights trademarks and other intellectual property rights in and to all parts of this website.

You are entitled to use our web site in accordance with these terms and conditions only. You must obtain our prior written consent before you use our website or any part of it in any other matter.

All persons, individual and corporates, are prohibited from providing hypertext or other links to the rookerywines.com.au website, from their own website or from a third party’s web site, without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude Rookery Wines online liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.

Subject to the above statement, Rookery Wines will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine. We will not be liable for spillages or breakages.

Rookery Wines will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where: Loss or damage was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;
Loss or damage was not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier;
Loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers.

Customers should also be aware of the following inherent risks and warnings: Alcohol should be consumed in moderation;
A case of wine is heavy, so extra care should be taken when lifting. If you are concerned about the weight, we advise that you transfer the bottles one or two at a time;
Red wine in particular may cause staining if spilt so extra care must be taken;
Sparkling wines and Champagnes can be volatile due to the build-up of gasses, use extra care when transporting or opening such wines.

11. E & O E

Rookery Wines acknowledge that from time to time due to administrative errors, omissions, or Government / Statutory changes, pricing and terms advertised by Rookery Wines may be incorrect. Content of products may from time to time appear with wrong descriptions. To this end, Rookery Wines reserves the rights to change and/or amend such terms, pricing and content without notice. We will however advise our customers via email, website, Facebook or in writing to ensure they are informed when such changes do arise.

12. General

Rookery Wines may change or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal or regulatory reasons. We will not use this right to vary the terms of any special offer that applies to a customer.
The sale of goods takes place only when specific goods are appropriated to the terms and conditions.
Relevant Australian law will apply to these terms and conditions and the relevant courts of Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction.
